And you’ll be joining a business where new customer opportunities are currently at the highest we’ve seen, with forecasts strong going into 2024 and beyond. This is driven by a re-imagining of our sales journey, underpinned by a significant digital transformation investment.
As a result, we need a new Account Manager (AM) to ensure we capitalise on this growing customer base. You’ll be one of the most recognisable faces in our business, responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring we are their trusted source for supply of fleet vehicles and management services.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced clientfacing operative (b2b), used to listening to customers, understanding their issues and able to showcase propositions to help them overcome their challenges. While fleet management experience is not an essential, a passion for customers, sales and business growth is.
Finally, an AM who is confident in using LinkedIn to nurture relationships and showcase both their company and personal brand would be advantageous.
What you'll do
You'll help us in a number of ways:
- Maintain a laser focus on meeting agreed KPIs
- Build long-term trusted relationships with clients
- Manage existing and new clients, quickly understanding different businesses, structure and the people you will be dealing with
- Regularly review our accounts’ needs, contracts and vehicle replacements to ensure they maximise their Gofor partnership
- Develop account-based strategies to grow accounts, underpinned by excellent account record keeping
- Collaborate with the wider sales and customer success teams to develop and refine account plans, being the advocate for your clients’ needs
- Continually be seeking additional revenue opportunities, pulling on available cross-sell and up-sell levers
- Ensure a constant focus on customer satisfaction and retention
- Be an industry expert – take responsibility for your development by constantly learning about the fleet management industry, new products and changes to legislation
