At Gofor, we’re continuing to invest in our future by expanding our business development team as part of our plans for sustained growth into 2026.
We’ve recently welcomed two new business development executives, Jordon Walsh and Iona Mitchell, both based at our Edinburgh headquarters. Their arrival brings our business development team to six, strengthening our ability to support SMEs across the UK.
This investment reflects growing demand from businesses looking for practical, expert guidance on fleet management – particularly around electric vehicle adoption and salary sacrifice schemes.
Our CEO, Graham Lesslie, explained why growing the team is such a key focus for us:
“Expanding our business development team is essential to achieving our 2026 growth ambitions, so we’re delighted to welcome Jordon and Iona to Gofor. They bring fresh energy, valuable skills and a strong customer-first mindset that fits perfectly with our culture.
With the latest Budget reinforcing the importance of EV adoption and salary sacrifice, many SMEs are looking for trusted support. Strengthening our team means we’re even better placed to help businesses navigate this important transition.”
We take an omni-channel approach to business development, combining digital-led engagement with strong relationship-building. Jordon joins us with a background in digital media and is already helping us connect with SMEs in new and engaging ways.
He said: “I’ve had a really warm welcome from the Gofor team. My aim is to blend digital expertise with a consultative approach to help businesses understand the benefits of Gofor’s fleet management services, including electrification and salary sacrifice. It’s also clear that once customers are onboarded, the wider team provides fantastic ongoing support.”
Iona joins us from the higher education sector and brings an impressive academic background, including a Masters in defence, development and diplomacy. Her focus will be on building strong, long-term client relationships and supporting our continued growth within the SME market.
“I’m delighted to be joining Gofor at such an exciting time,” she said. “The business has a great reputation for customer service and innovation, and meeting the team made it an easy decision to join. There’s a real opportunity to help SMEs improve how they manage their fleets, and I’m excited to be part of Gofor’s growth journey.”
These appointments follow the opening of our first England-based office in Blackburn, Lancashire, earlier this year. Since welcoming three new team members there in May, the site has already begun to drive sales growth, marking another positive step in our continued expansion across the UK.
If you’d like to be part of a dynamic team that combines years of experience with fresh, emerging talent, we’d love to hear from you.
